About the Club
The University of Brighton Mountaineering Climbing club (UBMC) was established more than 20 years ago and has been one of the most popular clubs amongst students. During that time we have traveled the length and breadth of the country in search of good climbing, scrambling and walks, and most importantly socialising. If you enjoy more adventurous sports and challenges then rock climbing is an amazing way to build up your strength, confidence and trust in yourself and others. As a member of the club you will get frequent opportunities to come on both weekend and/or week long trips to the Peak District, Swanage, North Wales and even Clecy in France.
